The young performer from Riohacha (La Guajira), son of Oscar Gamarra and Martha Pertuz, is the youngest of three brothers and since he was a child he discovered his singing skills. His artistic vein comes from a family of composers dedicated to this music, and having won the Francisco El Hombre Festival first in the youth category in 2015 and then the Gran Francisco El Hombre in 2018, a special edition held every 10 years, fulfilled his dreams and motivated him to continue growing, and launch himself fearlessly into the world of vallenato with the musical union of Daniel Carvajal and his group the 'Megabanda'. The differential value of this singer is the passion with which he interprets the music of the roots, those themes that animate his presentations, he does not deny that vallenato has to evolve, but he fights and demonstrates that it is possible to preserve the traditional vallenato adding a hint of modern style.
