The solution

Queen’s University selected Sennheiser to enhance its Active Learning Classrooms, which focus on pod-based teaching and collaboration. The university required reliable, high-quality audio solutions that could support both voice amplification within individual classrooms and communication between adjoining spaces. Sennheiser’s TeamConnect Ceiling 2’s TruVoiceLift allowed clear communication amongst classmates for group work, while MobileConnect Stations enhanced accessibility by allowing students to join audio streams via QR codes and a user-friendly app. The SpeechLine microphones added further value with networking features with Sennheiser’s Control Cockpit for monitoring battery life, alerts, and more. Partnering with Solotech, an integrator from Ottawa, the university successfully built flexible, accessible learning spaces with seamless Sennheiser technology. The ease of configuration and deployment allowed quick implementation and effective training for staff, transforming the university’s approach to interactive learning environments.
