“A voice the whole world needs to hear” is how US artist and Grammy-nominee Shawn Mullins describes Callaghan. After she sent him some rough demos in 2009, Mullins fell in love with Callaghan’s stunning voice and song-writing. He agreed to produce her debut album and take her on tour. Since then Callaghan’s been an independent road warrior all across the USA, building her audience to become a headliner in multiple cities. Her second album, A History of Now, released in the UK in 2015, and her UK touring profile has grown rapidly; including appearances at Cornbury, British Summer Time, Celtic Connections and multiple headline tours. Her latest album ‘Callaghan’ was recorded in LA with award winning producers Starr Parodi and Jeff Eden Fair (James Bond, Mission Impossible) and Anthony Resta (Elton John, Duran Duran, Blondie), and offers a unique blend of cinematic pop production, powerfully emotive songwriting and Callaghan’s world class voice.
