EW-D

Unleash your sound with setup simplicity and digital clarity.

Part of the Evolution Wireless Digital family — which includes EW-D, EW-DX and EW-DP — EW-D wireless microphone systems give you the highest dynamic range of any wireless system currently on the market, utilizing advanced features to simplify your setup process, guarantee the most reliable UHF connection, and deliver superior sound quality with 24-bit digital audio.

Maximize efficiency by taking full control with the Smart Assist app and automatically coordinate frequencies with ease. Increased bandwidth and the lowest latency of any digital wireless system currently available make Evolution Wireless Digital the most powerful tool for those who put quality and performance above all else.

Raising the bar

Evolution Wireless Digital breaks the boundaries by providing more dynamic range than any wireless system currently on the market. Automatically securing the most reliable signal in a matter of seconds and scalable up 90 channels thanks to 56 MHz of tuning bandwidth, it’s easy to see why this wireless system is in a class of its own.

Equidistant Spacing – simpler than it sounds

Evolution Wireless Digital features an equidistant tuning grid previously only found in our flagship Digital 6000 and Digital 9000 wireless systems. Quality components with exceptional linearity eliminate intermodulation between EW-D transmitters, allowing frequencies to be equally spaced every 600 kHz alongside each other. This simplifies frequency coordination for wireless beginners and seasoned professionals alike, and also contributes to the system’s scalability and impressively high channel count.

FAQ

Q: Can I pair EW-D devices with EW-DP or EW-DX?
A: The EW-D is compatible with both the EW-D and EW-DX systems.

Q: How do I configure multiple systems, with antenna splitters and remote antennas?
A: Visit the guide here which details how to configure your multi-channel EW-D system

Q: How do I know what EW-D frequency range is right for me?
A: Understanding your regions regulation around frequency allocation can be complex. Visit the Sennheiser International Frequency Advisor here.

If you require further assistance, contact your local Sennheiser customer service team, who will gladly help with finding the frequency range for your application and area.

Q: How do I mount the EW-D EM receiver in a rack?
A: The EW-D EM receiver is supplied with a rackmount set. Each rackmount set can mount 2 receivers side by side in a 19” rack. The rackmount set can also be used for mounting EW-D ASA antenna splitters.

Q: Is the EW-D compatible with Sennheiser legacy systems like the G3 and G4?
A: The EW-D system is not designed to work with Sennheiser's legacy analogue systems including the G3 or G4 systems. The digital transmission technology used by the EW-D system is not cross compatible with analogue systems.

Q: I am having problems with the connecting devices or seeing them in the app:
A: Visit the guide here which details how to troubleshoot your system.
