The solution
Jesus College decided to choose Sennheiser due to the company's reputation for excellent sound quality, durability, and reliability; qualities crucial for the Digital Hub, a high-end venue prioritizing quality of experience. The array of Sennheiser products already in use includes SpeechLine Digital Wireless handheld and lapel microphones with MultiChannel receivers, and TeamConnect Ceiling microphones. The Digital Hub hosts various events, including conferences, talks, exhibitions and music performances, making superior sound quality paramount. The cooperation with Sennheiser on this project has been excellent, particularly when addressing acoustic challenges within the venue. Notably, the venue's unique cylindrical design posed significant reverberation issues, requiring extensive sound absorption solutions. Despite these challenges, the use of ceiling microphones has transformed the space, mitigating reverberations, and enhancing the sound experience.
"The decision to choose Sennheiser stemmed from its reputation for excellent sound quality, durability, and reliability, qualities crucial for the Digital Hub, a high-end venue prioritizing quality."
