Also utilised in the Sennheiser Team Connect Ceiling microphone, Voce uses proprietary beamforming, noise-reduction and echo-cancellation technologies to optimise voice intelligibility from all seats. It provides crystal-clear quality to enable a “meeting-room on wheels” experience even when other passengers are listening to music or involved in other conversations.  

Solo is our fatigue-reduction algorithm for headrest audio. Focused on voice interaction, it reduces fatigue during long phone calls by creating a more natural conversation experience – making it feel as if the caller is right in front of you. The resulting sound stage detached from the headrest enhances the naturalness of other voice interactions such as navigation information or replies from the voice assistant. 

Calmo is our patented noise-masking algorithm, making road and wind noise less disturbing while listening to music. It adjusts the level, dynamics, and sound profile of the music playback to perfectly adapt to any road noise, providing a consistent music experience in any driving scenario. It eliminates the need to adjust music volume manually, thereby reducing stress while driving and allowing a better focus on the road. 

Concerto is our award-winning immersive audio software module. It allows for traditional stereo content to be played back in full three-dimensional depth and resolution. The algorithm creates an immersive, concert-like experience while still preserving the original artistic intent. For example, no artificial reverb or reflections are added, preserving the nature of the mix. The technology provides a very stable virtual centre image in front of the driver and the co-driver and creates a bigger stage making sound sources appear beyond car boundaries. The full version of Concerto also improves the quality of playback for newer native immersive audio formats, such as Dolby Atmos, to recreate the mixing studio experience in the car. 

Sonata is our immersive algorithm for headrest audio. Focused on music playback, it creates a wide and enveloping sound stage around each passenger. Used as a standalone feature, it can create a personalised and immersive music experience for each passenger. It can also be added to a traditional multi-speaker setup in the car to enhance the spaciousness of the immersive music experience. When used in the second row, it allows for a stable sound experience for visual and audio entertainment.
